Solutions to the most common problems you might encounter
Upload Issues
File Too Large
If you see an error saying your file is too large (over 10MB):
- Resize your image to a smaller resolution (1024x1024 is usually sufficient)
- Use an online compression tool like TinyPNG or Squoosh
- Convert to JPG format which typically has smaller file sizes than PNG
- Reduce the image quality/compression level in your photo editor
Wrong Format
PlushifyAI only accepts JPG, JPEG, and PNG formats. If your file is rejected:
- Convert your image to JPG or PNG using an image editor
- Use online converters like CloudConvert or Convertio
- Make sure the file extension matches the actual format
- Avoid using WEBP, GIF, BMP, or TIFF formats
Upload Fails
If your upload fails or gets stuck:
- Check your internet connection is stable
- Try refreshing the page and uploading again
- Clear your browser cache and cookies
- Try a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, or Safari)
- Disable any browser extensions that might interfere
Generation Issues
Low Quality Result
If your generated plushie looks blurry or low quality:
- Use a higher resolution source image (at least 512x512 pixels)
- Ensure your source image is clear and well-lit
- Upgrade to Pro or Elite plan for higher quality outputs
- Try a different plushie style that may work better with your image
- Avoid images with heavy compression or artifacts
Generation Failed
If the generation fails or produces unexpected results:
- Try using a different image with a clearer subject
- Ensure your image has a single main subject
- Avoid images with complex or cluttered backgrounds
- Try generating again - sometimes server load affects results
- Your credit will be automatically refunded for failed generations
Slow Processing
If generation is taking longer than expected:
- Wait patiently - complex images can take up to 60 seconds
- Check our status page for any server issues
- Pro and Elite users get priority processing
- Try again during off-peak hours for faster results
- Don't refresh the page while generation is in progress
Account Issues
Can't Sign In
If you're having trouble signing in:
- Clear your browser cache and cookies
- Try a different browser
- Make sure third-party cookies are enabled
- Check that you're using the correct Google account
- Disable any ad blockers that might interfere
Note: In the current UI-only demo, you're automatically signed in as a mock user. Authentication will be enabled when the backend is implemented.
Credits Missing
If your credit balance seems incorrect:
- Check your transaction history in your profile
- Remember that each generation uses 1 credit
- Failed generations are automatically refunded within 24 hours
- Contact support with your transaction details if issues persist
Profile Not Updating
If changes to your profile aren't saving:
- Refresh the page to see if changes have been saved
- Check your internet connection is stable
- Try clearing your browser cache
- Make sure all required fields are filled correctly
